This client wanted a ‘Christian’ inspired feel but without the price tag. Although quality was high on their list they were also looking for something classic but with a modern twist. This was achieved by combining traditional in-frame ivory cabinetry and classic waterfall profile on the angola black granite with the latest stainless steel appliances. The chimney breast was made during the install to help create that overall bespoke look.

This classic timeless Vanbrugh kitchen had been a distant dream for this customer so they were bowled over with the result; a large, spacious area with a long, island plus an extra-comfy lounging area for home entertainment and spending time with friends. A high-seated breakfast bar was created for drinking and chatting whist the cooking is going on.

In a coastal setting overlooking the magnificent views of Cardigan Bay in Criccieth the brief was for a fresh, nautical feel to the interior. The owner often entertains therefore an island created useful preparation space that looked across to the living area to allow interaction with guests.
The sage colour connects with the sea and is complemented with a rustic oak timber worksurface.

The kitchen was located in a long, rectangular room overlooking the garden and the brief was for a light and airy kitchen diner which also featured an island unit to extend the food preparation area.
Hob, oven and sink to be located close together for a functional and ergonomic layout. This is the second kitchen the clients have bought from Colorwood in 5 years, having moved to a new home. The project was chosen for November 2010’s Beautiful Kitchens magazine.

The clients inherited a small kitchen and working with Colin at Rota and their architect their plans were changed to knock down a wall between the kitchen and dining room to extend the space to an openplan kitchen-dining area.
The room has an easy-living feel to it, this is achieved by adding the simply styled dressers either side of the feature fireplace wall.
